Here you can read the history about Harry Potter Fans.

The site was first created by Samantha and her sister Carissa. Natalie designed the layouts for the site until she asked Samantha if she would like to have a co-webmaster for the site. They bought the domain www.harry-potterfans.com and got the site hosted at www.fan-sites.org.

Since Samantha got very busy with private stuff and other sites, she asked Natalie to take over the site in the end of 2005. During that time a lot of people donated to the site and helped out. Unfortunately, the site was soon often without updates.

Early 2008, after the site had not been updated for a few months, it was added to the list of ghost sites over at www.fan-sites.org. By then, unfortunately, the domain was no more. It was then that I (Christine) asked to take over the site. Before receiving a response, a new friend of mine, Desiree, asked if she could help out as well if I adopted the site. I agreed and not long after we became the new owners of Harry Potter Fans. Soon after that, we asked Gertie to buy us the domain www.h-potterfans.net and she did, for which we are very grateful. Unfortunately after a few months, Desiree had to resign from her position as co-owner and it is now only me (Christine) working on the site.
